The Harrison Theme Competition subject in year 2007/08 will be  "Sport"

1. Up to three prints and three slides may be entered on the set Theme.

2. Please see the General Rules for guidance on how to mount your slides for entry to this competition.

3. All prints must be clearly titled and also labelled with your Club Membership Number on the back.  Prints must be mounted and conform to the following sizes :-Maximum Mount Size 500x400mm (16x20ins). Minimum Window Size 150x239mm (6x9ins)

4. Entries may be colour, Monochrome or a combination of both types.

5. Judging will be carried out by either a nominated judge or the members. In the event of members judging, it will be done on a voting slip nominating a first, second and third place.  Members may not vote for their own entry, or the entry of a relative.

6. One First, one Second and one Third place will be awarded.

7. A Trophy is awarded to the winner of this competition. 

8.  The winning positions of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in both the slide & print sections gain points which are taken to account when adding all qualifying points for "George Esson Trophy for Photographer of The Year".  1st = 3pts, 2nd = 2 pts and 3rd = 1 point.          

9. Entries should be clearly titled to describe the subject of the theme.
