OPEN PRINT COMPETITIONS :- 

  1. This competition will be in two sections. Colour and Monochrome. Open means "Any Subject".

  2. All entries must be mounted with a minimum window size of 200mmx150mm (8”x6”) Max mount size 500mm x 400mm (20x16")

  3. Up to a maximum of three prints can be entered in each category. 

  4. An image taken from any Slide entered cannot also be entered in the Print section. 

  5. Prints taken from slides entered in Monthly Slide Competitions are permitted. 

  6. All prints must be clearly labelled with The Title and your Club Membership Number on the back.

  7. Once entered into an Open Print Competition, prints may not subsequently be entered into another Open Print Competition. They may be entered into other competitions as permitted by the appropriate rules.

  8. The judge will be asked to select first, second and third in each category. All entries will be awarded points up to a maximum of 20.

  9. These are traditional club competitions and the winner in each competition is awarded a trophy.

  10. The winning positions of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, in each section, also gain points which are taken to account when adding all qualifying points for "George Esson Trophy for Photographer of The Year".  1st = 3pts, 2nd = 2 pts and 3rd = 1 point.

  11. Print Competition Secretary is Frank Slowey.
